The charter rate includes the hire of the yacht together with its crew, crew food and the yacht’s insurance (although the Charterer is responsible for his own personal travel; charterer’s liability insurance). All other operational expenses are to the Charterer’s account, such as fuel, and
vary depending upon the type of cuisine you select, your choice of yacht and the extent of cruising undertaken.
Therefore, a 30% Advance Provisioning Allowance, (or A.P.A.) will be required at least 35 days prior to embarkation in order for the crew to fully provision the yacht according to your requests. A fully itemised set of accounts with supporting receipts will be provided at the end of the charter and any outstanding amount left- over will be returned to you. Charterdart also arranges preset, all-inclusive packages that incorporate a fixed fee.

Charterdart deals with clients wishing to charter a yacht for full day, weekend or longer. We can propose to you specific itineraries based on the time you would like to allow for your yacht charter.
The base charter rate includes the yacht in working order, crew wages and a third-party marine insurance policy. All other operating expenses are payable by the charterer’s APA. The APA, is essentially a cash fund that is used to deduct relevant yacht charter expenses.
Once you confirm your yacht charter booking, 50% of the base charter fee is payable upon the execution of the Charter Agreement. The remaining 50% plus the APA (Advance Provisioning Allowance) will be payable within one month of the booking. These expenses are payable via bank transfer and in certain cases a credit card payment can be made for last-minute bookings.
Delivery fee’s may be incurred when embarking in a destination that is away from the yacht’s home port. These are fuel-only expenses and are calcuated based on the yacht’s general fuel consumption. These fee’s are deducted from the APA (Advance Provisioning Account).

The standard tipping policy is between 10-15% of the Base Charter Rate. This amount can be deducted diretly from the APA (Approved Provisioning Account).
Once your charter has been confirmed, a charterdart representative will contract you with a link to our Digital Preference Sheet. This preference sheet helps to understand your culinary expectations and other special requests.
